Rocky Road Pudding

1 3 ounce box instant chocolate pudding
2/3 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup mini marshmallows

At home: combine the pudding and powdered milk in a ziplock bag. Carry the nuts and marshmallows in a second bag.

In camp: add 2 cups of water to the pudding mix. Top the pudding with the marshmallows and nuts after the pudding has set up. Makes 2 – 4 serving.

  1. To make things even faster, freeze water in your water bottle overnight at home. Don’t forget to bring it along on the trip! When you are ready for dessert you will have icy cold water to give your pudding a head start. 🙂

Great tip thanks dicentra. This sounds like an awesome dessert while in the outdoors, I’m going to have to make it up tonight and see how it tastes. Thanks.
