Ford Wraps

1 package smoked salmon (the kind in sheets)
2 single serving packages cream cheese
2 large tortillas

At home: wrap the tortillas in foil. Carry the cream cheese and salmon separately.

In camp: spread 1 package of cream cheese on each of the tortillas. Put half of the salmon on each. Roll and eat. Makes 1 – 2 servings.

  1. This recipe sounds easy and amazingly tasty! I think I would also pack this for breakfast, as well. I love using tortillas with a number of different foods, for example Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread. Tortillas are so thin, it provides for easy packing and they don’t take up too much space. I can’t wait to try this recipe out…its perfect to get a lot fuel before starting your day hike.

    I’ve not taken tortillas as camping food before, but this is a great idea. Easy to pack and carry; I’ll try it on our next camping trip.


  4. Smoked salmon and cream cheese! Tortillas are awesome to backpack with, there are so many ways you can fill them. This way is one of the best for sure!
