  2. As a teenager,in the1970’s I used to use the beer can cooking idea. Only they went in full of beer and when empty were utensils.
    But beware, many beer and other metal cans are plastic coated on the inside.
    Plastic + heat = not good for humans.

    I will take my dryer lint and pack it into a empty toilet paper roll. Both will burn and the lint is protected and won’t make a dust mess everywhere.
